Public “Pay and Swim” Sessions
Lonsdale Pool has open ‘Pay and Swim’ sessions starting at 07:00 each weekday morning. Why not call in for a swim before work?
We used to open at 08:00 in the mornings but since 2008 open from 07:00 so that those that need to get to work by 08:30 can have a swim and still get to work on time! The pool is open at lunchtimes from 12:15 to 13:30 as well.
Swimming is very good exercise and is highly recommended by many authorities to improve fitness and lose a few calories as well. Multi-swim tickets are available for those who want to swim regularly offering a saving on the normal admission prices.
The sessions are only open to over 18′s. There are often sessions in school holidays for families to swim at the pool – look out for publicity.
Adult “Pay and Swim” Sessions, Monday – Friday
Morning Session: 07:00am – 09:00am
Lunchtime Session: 12:15pm – 1:30pm
Sunday Ladies Only Session
Sundays, 10:30am – 11:30am
